Namco Bandai, the company that published games such as Ridge Racer, The Witcher 2 and Soul Calibur recently held a media event in Las Vegas, showcasing a selection of brand new and upcoming PS3 titles that will appeal to many audiences and should not be missed.

Among all the games announced, there were two in particular that look most promising.

Star Trek



Star Trek is the first game that is believed will take gamers by storm. Taking place between the 2009 hit film and the sequel (due for release in 2013), the player takes on the role of the film's most well known protagonists, Spock and Kirk. The game will feature a splitscreen co-op campaign mode and online gaming. The characters will be equipped with a large variety of equipment and abilities that the player will be able to take full advantage of. It also boasts a 3D output of which 3DTV owners will be able to use.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2



Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is another game in the extremely successful Tekken saga. It features over 50 playable characters and a brand new Fight Lab mode which features many mini games elements from previous games. An added benefit to this is Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada's announcement that all of these characters will be obtained without DLC, saving players from having to buy additional characters.

Both games are set to be launched this year, and I will be expecting to see them at E3 2012 as playable demos.

Thanks man, and yeah it looks really good! Hope it isn't a ruin of a game like Tekken 6 was. I hated that one.
