Activision have stated that the multiplayer game mode will be free to download on steam and play starting this Thursday, that's the 26th April. This trial will continue throughout the weekend and is only available for people with steam accounts.

I sort of lost interest in the whole First person shooter gaming fad after MW2 but I think I'll give this a download and at least try it out.

Again .. o_O normally games like this take about a year to go for a free to play weekend.. Just shows how bad CoD is getting

Surprisingly this is the second time this year MW3 multi-player has been free on Steam.
