What he said but I think largely it depends on the mic you have. I played with people all over the world they sound fine to me until they say there is something with there mic.

To the best of my knowledge yes. My internet speeds are 1.4mbs for dl and like .30mbs for upload and I can hear my friends in Bosnia just fine. Im in America.
