So your telling me you enjoy destroying other's long hard work. The countless hours it took them to accumalate the materials they needed to build w/e they were going to build. Then you come along and destroy it, that is terrible. Why would you do this to people? Did you get griefed before? Do you want to get back on others for what happened to you? What are your motives for this?
I believe that people enjoy griefing so much because they realize trolling on forums got them nowhere, so in turn they destroy peoples hard work in a fraction of the time it took the person to build the structure as another way of trolling. They feel empowered by this. That they can undo time and get reactions out of people. Very few times have I encountered a griefer that does this simply for the resources they get from it. This tells you that most only get satisfaction from destruction alone or the rush one gets at the thought of getting caught. It's the age old concept of two kids on a beach making sand castles. One may envy the other and destroy the other kids sand castle because he is jealous or wants to feel empowered by controlling the childs emotions knowing this will make him distraught. In a way greifers, whether they consciously know it or not, want to play God.
