We also play via hamachi.

If you run the game itself, you'll get the "Bad Login" issue so you must type this (via RUN in windows):
java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -cp "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\*" -Djava.library.path="%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\natives" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft "YourNicknameHere"
- this will start minecraft with the resolved bad login issue

NOTE: The quotation marks on the "YourUsernameHere" are included
