Today at Gamescom, the trailer for Dead Space 3 was released by EA. The trailer shows us some gameplay of Dead Space 3, and we see protagonist Isaac Clarke in a new frozen planet environment, surviving violent, sub-zero conditions while fighting gigantic creatures, blood-thirsty Necromorphs. Protagonist Isaac Clarke will not be fighting alone, as he is joined by a new co-op character, John Carver who is a military officer. It is reported that Clarke will be taking the fight to human enemies too.

We are told that Dead Space 3 will hit the shelves in North America on February 5[SUP]th[/SUP] 2013 and February 8[SUP]th[/SUP] in Europe in the information released with the trailer. Visceral Games announced today that fans who pre-order the Dead Space 3 Limited Edition will have the advantage of using two bonus suits and weapons, right when they start the game. It is unknown what these weapons will do, but we can expect them to be powerful as they are Limited Edition.
