You sir need to add in the BF3 Premium Edition announcement video as it has about 10 seconds of Aftermath footage. (not gameplay, cinematics)

Realistic yes but balanced no. I love the .50 caliber round but it would be flat out overpowered in this game. It would have to be a OHK to the chest at <500m in game. Most sniping in game is 100m - 300m, unless you are going for longer distances. I want a .50 cal in the game but it would have to underpowered as shit to be balanced. I do care about balance in the game too.

People act like the world's gonna end when there's a sniper that actually is a one shot to the chest at range. Hitting a moving target at range is hard enough with drop, lead, route prediction, and obstacles in the way. In reality, it won't even be considered OP. Recon needs balls. Just use the M95 bolt action one from previous BFs. It has a 5 round mag, very slow bolt pull, and it'll make your guy run slowly. You sacrifice everything for damage.

Again I agree with you that in reality it wouldn't be considered OP. The M82(A2 I think) was in the Alpha version of the game and it was considered over powered as hell by the games testers. They took it out to balance the game out. If they had a .50 caliber sniper in the game, rarely anyone would use a different rifle. It's a touchy subject for me because I like the round but DICE had its reasons for keeping it out of the Beta and beyond. I have to agree with those reasons.

Check from 1:37 to 1:42. Its not gameplay or info, just a little sneak peak at the concept or Aftermath.

Yes I know its an info thread but the information isn't text, its picture. When you mention "Fight through the dust and rubble" the video shows a perfect example of "the dust and rubble". I am not forcing you to put it in your thread but just telling you why I think it should be included.
