It has to do with joining on a friend. The highest squad I've had is 9. It was cool because we all had mics and we had every squad specialization.

it happens to me quite a bit when i play with friends. i make the party and join the game. boom, 5+ people in a squad but every time its happened to me, the squad i was in was locked so i think that has something to do with it.

maybe, have 4 friends in a game with locked squad. then you with your squad join the game and hope you get it. thats the best i can come up with.

Well me and my friend joined a game and we got split he was on the enemy team and i was in a squad of 5.
