(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was looking at reviews for Borderlands 2, and it looks pretty fun. The only thing i'm wondering is... is it still a good game if you don't have any friends to play it with, or is it dull and boring? I have friends, but they all have Xbox and I have a PS3. The only reason I didn't convert is because I didn't feel like re-buying all the games for xbox.

Certain classes builds are rubbish solo for example heal siren.
It still a good game but nothing beats playing with a friend.
Public games loot can be a issue but remember you do have matchmaking for other players online or can host your own game :y:

Leave your PSN sure people would pick you up Smile

I went to the premier and finished the game before any my friends bought the game and it was still a great game to play solo. If you wish to still have people play with you, you can change your network settings to public and let random's join your game. The only bad thing about this is that they may accept every side mission under the sun which is what happened to me, but it's no big deal really.

Hope this helps you make a decision.

Sincerely, Xion

It most certainly is, my friend. I purchased Borderlands 2 earlier off of the PSN store; I played solo for about 5 or 6 hours until I decided to invite some friends to join my session. However, while the game is still enjoyable while playing alone, the cooperative experience adds an entire layer to the satisfaction experienced during gameplay- it certainly should not be missed.

Its still fun playing solo, at least for me. But nothing beats playing with other people especially for bosses or like the hyperion circle of slaughter. Just play with friends though. I tried playing a public match and this one guy kept jacking all the loot... Not a great experience
