Personally, I liked the Halo 3 style of forge where we could just edit the multiplayer maps. I think I attempted to forge something once in Halo: Reach, but the Forge World just wasn't as fun because it was a single environment. Halo 4 attempted to fix that by including 3 forge maps, each with completely different environments to build in.
The first one called Erosion is an underground cave map. Then there's Impact, which looks like it's on a big asteroid in the middle of space. Out in the distance on this map you can see an asteroid belt and some pretty nice space visuals. Finally, the last map called Ravine is high up on this rocky land mass surrounded by water with what else other than a ravine going through the middle of the rock. There's also a forerunner style base on one side of the ravine.
