A forum user on our sister site X360A, Bahroo3 has listed some facts about the Borderlands 2 Graveyard.sav virus [via Grif], which should help you avoid corrupting your saved games. Here's the key thing: "If you want to prevent this, you have to make sure you're not playing with randoms, and that everybody you play with isn't playing with randoms, AND that it isn't currently effecting anybody in your group. Along with that, MAKE FREQUENT BACKUPS. Memory card or USB drive is best."

not for ps3 yet thank god

It never hit Ps3 because the real reason is was caused is that what was happening is modded saves were being used and when a modded save was made with BadassModeEnabled, it would make it so once your character dies it's wiped and drops all of it's items.

it may hit the PS3 community if they release modding software for PS3 saves... hopefully someone doesn't enable BadassMode

Yeah I've been trying for a while to make some changes myself. I don't doubt someone will try some stuff with things like Game Genies and what not in the near future.

The devs that made willowtree for BL1 have started progress for BL2 so i wouldn't be surprised if that came out in the near future

Yeah, there's already a save editor somewhat compatible for all universal console & PC saves on BL2 available. ( Gibbed's Save Editor )

But doesnt work for PS3 i assume .... i think i bought the wrong console
