Are you high?
siri would be a cool feature that I might use occasionally but Apple Maps just seems unnecessary on a computer OS

Dopey
NGU :/
I use google maps on my computer all the time. It's nice to know where you're going and how you're getting there beforehand.

Any intel based PC is capable of running OSx, the version wont matter as long as you reach minimum spec, and apple macs are shitty specs anyway you can build a better PC that is 100% osx compatible and it be twice as good for half the price of a mac

actually no not any intel cpu is able to run osx 10.8(10.8.2 added ivy support) is only supported on 64bit cpu's , not all mobo chipsets will work , sound and internet chipsets will vary and will need modified drivers to run.along with gpu series only supports 600 and up natively you will need to enable any older nvidia cards 10.8.2 doesnt support 7000 amd gpus at all atm to say it will basically work on any intel based cpu is very ignorant and the biggest point the osx version is the biggest part of what counts the older it is the less likely it is to support current chipsets and hardware

I said osx, and from the research i did when trying to build a hackintosh, any intel based cpu should be compatible, but most hardware setups will need kexts to be installed for audio, internet and other issues users may experience. But that is from my understanding anyway, I have researched since 10.7 came out

internet and sound chipsets that i have are completely incompatible with any osx version ,if i want a hackintosh i have to use a dedi sound card and ethernet port for internet also i had to wait for 10.8.2 for ivy support , think atom cpu's rarly work as well(lot of laptops use them)10.6.8 i believe is snow lepoard which works for just about any cpu except ivy bridge and the reference to 10.8 in the start was because of my first comment and the thread is about 10.9

So not even through the use of modified kexts? That's annoying, I found out my wireless card was 100% incompatible so gave up trying to make it a hackintosh. Right now i just have a windows 7 & 8 dual boot, 7 for video editing and syncing my iphone, 8 for school work and browsing
