The DLC will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on January 15, priced at $10 or 800 Microsoft Points. Luckily, the DLC will be available to download for free if you own the Season Pass. This is the third of four planned DLC packs for Borderlands 2, and expectations for Hammerlock are high after the first two impressed Borderland players. In this new DLC, players will begin a new campaign with Sir Hammerlock that is suddenly interrupted by “a new villain intent on restoring the legacy of Handsome Jack.” Through this information, we can tell that this DLC is set after the main storyline has been finished. Like previous DLC's from Gearbox, this one will include new weapons, new enemies to fight, along with a new continent called 'Aegrus' to explore. The developer is also thrilled to release the following information.

Now, aside from all the speculation from the DLC, Gearbox have also confirmed a level cap increase which will be making its way to our systems, but not until sometime in Q1 2013. So unfortunately, users won't get this cap increase along with Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt.
