(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm wondering if the tanks are just overpowered or the helis are underpowered... I don't know about you guys but i am very tired of getting hit by a tank while im in a heli! There is literally no game when i won't get hit by the tank... I consider my self a very good pilot but it makes me sad when i fly and monover but i still get hit by the tank from the other end of the map. That's not all, it is impossible to escape from the tank's guided missile as it will hit you no matter what you use... I use the ECM Jammer and it does not help because the missile will just keep flying around you until the ECM stops working and then BOOOOM! I don't know if thats just me but there is one thing i know for sure, i bought this game (Premium Edition) when it came out... I am not having fun at all. All the bugs and connection problems are very disappointing and DICE does not give a shit! All DICE cares about is money and this is what they do while we spend our money on their unfinished product.

Go below 25m above the ground.

Thank you for your answer but i don't think it helps as i quite often fly pretty low when the missile is after me but i still get hit! I remember when i was trying to hide in the glitched buildings in Noshair canals and i still got hit even though its below 25m

Indeed, if a missile is fired at you, then going below 25m won't protect you. However, it will cut off lock-ons. However, the main point is you need to be flying closer to the ground in the first place, and thus when the enemy start to fire at you you can activate your ECM Jammer (hence avoiding the missiles fired at you, as well as cutting off and preventing any further lock-ons for 5 seconds) and then get yourself below 25m.

Additionally, you can use building, other vehicles (e.g. tanks), terrain, and so on, to cover you. Just gotta find something that gets in between you and the missile(s).

Yeah id do understand what you're saying but the thing is that to me as a pilot, it is very frustrating how vunerable the helis are in bf3...

Ok, so we went through the guided missile. What about the magic behind people who can hit you with the standard tank shell from the other end of the map when you're flying?

If they weren't vulnerable then they'd be overpowered.

Isn't magic mate, it's either skill or luck. Either way, kudos to those who can pull it off. That doesn't make the tank overpowered, as it's extremely hard to pull off. I've only done it once or twice.
