As far as I know, this is the mileage. As soon as I load up GT5, it starts to loop. GT5 logo -> save -> GT5 logo, etc.

That is not the mileage, I can see you are editing something that is not even in the car's parameter blob.

Look at the top of your pic, there is data like 0x07817C03, a few bytes later 0x07817D01.
These are contants, possible pointer addresses with data after most.

You have just wiped half of one of those. (This will always lead to looping/soft freezing)

The start of the parameter blob isn't until after the
bytes {0xE80E} 6E000000 3C00.

The mileage is at the start in that blob {blob being 0x277 bytes in length starting at next byte after 6E000000 3C00)
