so ive put the HKS CT230R engine and drive train in it and just used the fully adjustable 6 speed code 17 83 but it still only does Auto.

it might have to do with u cant buy one from the shop. i have searched up on this and didnt come across any threads asking about this.

can any one help me with this please?

I have worked this out. i will post up my finding tomorrow. i know it wont be new info but it will Help those out who wish to know. But for now its bed...

I think it doesn't work because these cars have no options for tuning the transmission normally, with a kart it already has a fully customizable transmission.

Nah it does work. u just have to change the gear box to a 6 7 or 8 speed and then input the gears ur self. i will make a picture mentioning where all the gears.

i know it works as my i-MiEV now has 6 gears and goes like stink...

OK here is a pic to help u guys convert ur Auto hybrids to Fast usable track cars.

First of all u need to Change the gear box code from the auto to which ever gear box u want. In my case i just wanted the 6 speed fully adjustable box. 17 83.

Then below all the FF's, u will find the Reverse gear code. dont adjust this at all from what i have heard. it will stop ur gear inputs from working.
so from there u can work out the HEX value of ur 6 gears and input them from 1st to 6th,7th or 8th.. even 9ths now. Then there will be 4 sets of 00 and the next code is ur final gear ratio.

here is a pic with the placement oh each gear. i hope this helps out.
