(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hex Editor is suddenly starting to take a while to open and close. Is this because the size of my PS3 folder is now 4.81MB?

EDIT: I realized my backup file is larger than usual suddenly its 782,379 and my savegame is 2,097,152 large. But this does not solve the reason why suddenly HXD is taking ages to open and close.

So my normal savegame is ok. Maybe HXD doesn't like backup this large with the 2+mb savegame???

i have two files, 4.6MB and 2mb

The 4mb one takes awhile to open.

I fixed it. I had to cut HXD folder from the C:\Program Files installation directory and i paste it to new directory. Now start up HXD and say yes to let it create a new configuration file. Simples. Now it loads fast again.

Yes for you this is the reason why. Your normal savegame is 4+mb large. My savegame is 2.80Mb large. Only my back up file was larger than usual. Thats the only reason why i had such a large file.

You are correct though i was told it is an issue though to have a normal savegame than over 4+Mb large.
