(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i'm looking to improve on this lap with the original 102,000HP X2010 by fully customizing my X2010 Prototype including Super Softs, etc:

what i'm wondering is if anyone has figured out what causes the wheel shake in the X2010 at high speeds? (300+ MPH), it's especially violent on the Nurburgring so i'm trying to eliminate it as much as possible (through swapping/modifying parts) while keeping the handling in-tact, i was fighting the car the entire time for 2:54 so i'm just looking to see what i can run with the only limits being my reflexes.

Do the shakes come from the huge amount of downforce in addition to the fact that Nurb is very bumpy? If so, does the bumpiness of the road become negated when a car is lowered through the ground? Because if the car is lowered through the ground it might not take suspension travel from the road's bumpiness, but rather the smooth invisible surface below the track. Just a thought, hopefully you understand what I'm getting at.

Some guy on GTPlanet explains it better. Search for something like "Force feedback shake X2010"

the car will shake on any track with a wheel, but especially on certain parts of the ring it will literally jerk the car left or right really hard when you're going 325+, as far as lowering it i'm pretty sure that just lowers the body and frame on the springs, the tires will stay on the road no matter how much you lower it

I've been able to, and I'm sure most ppl have too, lower the car so far that the wheels go halfway under the track, that's what I meant. The other thing you could mess around with, if you haven't already, is the spring rate so that the car absorbs more of the bumps. Also, congrats on that original time that you got, its quite the feat, I just wish I had a wheel....
