Post: My headset story (It might help!)

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, please don't waste your money on the PS3 PULSE HEADSET. It was about 5 months ago when i bought my headset, i was very impressed as it was my very first pair of gaming headsets. I couldn't believe what was happening, i mean, i could hear people trying to sneak up on me... The only bad sides were: The headset would squeeze your head like crazy (i have a fairly average head size), the battery life was also very terrible (i needed to charge the headset twice a day) and lastly, the whole 'base impact(rumbles around your ears)' function was utterly useless and it didn't work properly. About 1 month later, the headset broke. It wouldn't charge or synch with my PS3. Well, i soon realised how bad the product really was, i started looking for a fix and then... It hit me! Out of all the people i saw on forums, about 40% of them had to put up with the same problem.

So, i returned the headset and amazon gave me a replacement. The same issue occured within a week, i was fed up! I asked amazon for a refund and i decided to buy a new pair of Tritton 720+'s, these have been proven to be superior in every way... The sound quality is by far better, i no longer have those intense headaches after 2hours of gaming and i don't have to put up with sound dropouts.
Thank you for reading.

Depends on the make, my SONY PULSE HEADSET used to squeeze my head big time. My Tritton 720+ are very comfy and they don,t squeeze my head anymore Happy You should check them out if looking for a headset....

How much did you spend? I've got a crappy headset at the moment, only use it to talk to mates while playing.

Do a barrel roll!
I've always bought turtle beaches, never had an issue apart from my physical mishandling of them.
