So, i returned the headset and amazon gave me a replacement. The same issue occured within a week, i was fed up! I asked amazon for a refund and i decided to buy a new pair of Tritton 720+'s, these have been proven to be superior in every way... The sound quality is by far better, i no longer have those intense headaches after 2hours of gaming and i don't have to put up with sound dropouts.

Depends on the make, my SONY PULSE HEADSET used to squeeze my head big time. My Tritton 720+ are very comfy and they don,t squeeze my head anymore

How much did you spend? I've got a crappy headset at the moment, only use it to talk to mates while playing.

I spent 150on my PULSE headset and 170 on my Tritton 720+
