Post: Grip Multiplier Help Needed
04-05-2013, 10:00 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have learned how to mod using the hybrid modding app i found on this site! Everything is great and I can get great horsepower and look really slick with chasis swaps...but grip has been an issue...

A friend sent me a 430 ferrari with 5700 hp and it is literally planted to the ground with sparks flying out of the rear and does wheelies on occasion too...

My sti has about 5000 hp but when I set the grip multiplier up to 195 nothing changes and it still flips randomly on its sides and slides around...but when i set the multiplier to 225 it would only do wheelies...

Would someone please help me figure this out to where my car will stay planted on the ground without sliding around?

Thank you very much!

i use 115% for normal cars to achieve a bit more grip and my dragcar has 180% grip. your car should have enough grip with 195%. don't forget to add downforce, that prevent your car to flip in corners.

Just use Bruteforce and HxD. It's the second "64" after the hp multiplier.

From 01 to FF in Hexadecimal (in decimal would be from 1 - 255)

To add a little bit to Skyhawks post, 64 hexadecimal = 100, as in 100% grip. If you want (for example) 20% more grip, convert 120 to hexadecimal and replace the "64" with that new hexadecimal number.

What row is grip in? 0000e960 is horsepower...so where is grip located? and chasis swap in bruteforce?

It differs. This magical E960 most speak of is E760 on my system. As listed above, it's the second 64 after the multiplier, chassis is a lines above the multiplier. All info needed is plastered in this subforum.

You guys mentioned the 2nd "64" after the hp multiplier "64". Now, is that Hp multiplier the one that reads 28 00 00 00 64? If so, then the very next "64" I see, which is on the next offset line down, is the grip? Because I changed that "64" to "78", and it didn't change a thing. My G's down the 400m was still 1.16, when it "should" have been more like 1.39. Can you or anyone help me with the Hex figures I should be looking for that represent the Hp multiplier, if the one I mentioned is not the correct one?
