(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ive just seen a post on another forum and they posted a list of tuning options found in GT5 that are not normally in view.
They listed the following:

Nitro
5
10
20
30
60
90
120 seconds

Turbos
Ultra high RPM turbo
Super high RPM turbo

Weight Reduction
Stage 4
Stage 5

Engine Stage
Stage 4
Stage 5

Brake Upgrades
4-Piston
6-Piston
8-Piston
Carbon Ceramic

Others
Improved Throttle Response
Triple Plate Clutch
Full Racing Flywheel
Catalytic Converter: Racing

So here are my questions:

If PD didnt what Hacking or Hybrids in the game GT5 why was the following parts listed above there in the first place, what was it purpose?

If Hybrid's were never ment to be a part of the game, then why does the name 'Hybrid' apear in the Country menu when you have a hacked car?

If the game was designed with all these xtra parts encoded within the program why wasnt it 'locked off' so tightly they couldnt be accessed or indeed deleated from the game prior to release?

Do you think PD deliberatley left them there so they could be found?

What do you think?

A lot of questions and no answers, that's what I personally think.

Pretty sure this is part of the modding tool, put in by the dev.

To the other questions, I wonder the same thing about the parts.

I think they but it for them self’s only because they are selfish but our hackers screwed them.

No they put them in the for a reason like maybe it was going to be in an update that never happened or something like that or someone forgot to take themout of the games programing before it was released. who knows. but they didnt want people hacking the game so youre a moron for even thinking that lol.

Haxor!
Most of these parts were in GT3 and GT4

this is just an indicator that they rushed on releasing the game before they even finish it

let's hope they put them in the tuning shop in GT6

Typical PD style - make plans, but scrap some of them before release. That's why those parts exist.

"Hybrid" is an option under country since it can changed via editing.

Common sense people...
