(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm using an asian copy (not Japanese one, bought in Malaysia and has English/Simpl. Chinese language inside) of GT5 and recently tried to "re-paint" my 787B race car into a stealth model using the Hex Code uploaded in previous thread. However I couldn't get it right for every attempt and the game simply won't start up with edited Code. What I know is that the Hex code varies slightly with different save datas and I've came close to identifying where to edit (is it somewhere around Offset "0000E870" to "0000E880"?), but it just never worked. I don't think there's sort of problem with region code, as I previously hacked a GT Academy Spl. GT-R (that black one) which should only available in US/EU (with the Garage Editor though), and the fact that Stealth 787B appeared in both EU and JP ver of the game (it appeared like some sort of gift code in JP, thats all I know from Google translate).

Now my humble request is that:
1. Is it actually possible to get a Stealth 787B in Asian region GT5?
2. If so, will anyone be kind enough to show me where to edit in the Hex Codes? I'll attach the Hex code of my normal, bog-basic 787B below.

3. Or, if it is possible, can i send my whole save data to anyone who's so generous and get it back with edited code for Stealth 787B?

I think that's all the options so far, as that car isn't borrowable and Garage Editor doesn't include a Stealth car for body swap. Any sort of helping hand is much appreciated.

The body code is in 0000E870 it is 01 28 in your case(right before the section of FF bytes). You need to change that to 06 33 for the 787B stealth body. If that doesn't work then I don't know what to tell you....

It worked absolutely fine. Big gratitude for you mate! Hope there's a tutorial-for-dummies on Body Hex Code, I know there's one on HP modding but none were meant to be dealt with body thing. Hex algorithm was tricky thing (at least it seem so for my bonker brain...).

What would this then translate to in the Garage Editor? Current codes are paint 03FFFFFF, body code 00000128, colour 00000000.

Paint doesn't matter, your body code would change from 00000128 to 00000633. If you look at my previous post this will make more sense and hopefully you guys learn how to do this. Good Luck!

Duh, facepalm, ya I could have figured that out :dumb: Sorry but thanks!

Think this will work on the others with Stealth versions? Guess I'll try it when I get a chance.

Well yes but you have to use the correct body code for each car. The 787B is 0633 but others will be different accordingly.

Pitkawa, what is your question? You just need to change your body from 00000128 to 00000633 for the 787B stealth body.
