(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys,

I'm new to the forums so excuse me if this isn't posted in the right place.
This is the problem I'm dealing with for some time now, I would like to mod the Toyota Supra RZ '97.
I've tried it myself a reasonable amount of time but I didn't succeed.

Here's what I want : Toyota Supra RZ '97
-Chassis, suspension, drivetrain : Castrol Tom's Supra '97 (for aerodynamics/handling.);
-Engine : Tvr Cerbera Speed 12 (just want a V12, great sound too.);
-Transmission : Amuse GT1 Turbo/Ferrari 458 Italia (7 speeds, nice shifting and sound, if this doesn't work any other 7 speed is fine too, previous mentioned ones are prefered tho.);
-No Wing.

I've tried countless times and none worked, I tried with gt5 garage editor (v1.4, v1.5, v1.3.1 & Bruteforce). Is it impossible to make this car or am I doing stuff wrong? Could you guys/girls out there give it a try to make it? And if yes and you succeeded would you please be so kind to send me the car?
My Psn is : ThatOneSupra

Thanks in advance, really hope there's someone out there who can help me.

i'm guessing that you install update 2.12?
modding is not possible when you have install that update. only BHP modding is still possible.

Yes I did... So there's really no way? I want that car but I also still want to be able to play online races.

Wow you're really late to the party bro.

It all ended last month.

The only things you can do now is add the hidden parts with the garage editor, and paints/tickets etc.

As far as I'm aware you can still paint cars that aren't normally paintable too.

But most other mods like engine/chassis/drivetrain swaps and the multipliers, is no longer possible.

Nah, I was in the party before the update but I never did any crazy stuff like 1,000,000bhp cars and so on. I wanted to keep it realistic. Before the update I succeeded in the engine, chassis, suspension & drivetrain swap but I never got the transmission I wanted. However I'm wondering, can I make a new Psn account on the same system and have gt5 running on ver 2.11 and on my main ver 2.12? If this is possible I'd be statisfied aswell Winky Winky

No, that was discussed before (there is a thread about it). The only way to get around it is to purchase another region of the disc. If you are in US you buy EU version of the disc and same thing vice-versa.

For CFW (custom firmware) consoles, there is the option to downgrade/upgrade between 2.11-2.12 by patching the update and use "install package files" utlity. im able to move 2.11-2.12.
In 2.11 i can mod all my cars and when i want to play online, just install 2.12 update (all my cars return to normal, but i have a backup)

You can still alter downforce on any car in hex editor, I put 200 front and rear on a 09 vspec and it handles like a racecar now but has a low top speed.
