This is probably my first post on this website after being a lurker for quite a while. After delving back into skyrim over the past week or so i started looking into modding. Soon after i discovered Shino Aburame's thread on this website. Afterwards i found a thread which has been my biggest help throughout this endeavor linked here by thugnit1019: You must login or register to view this content.
After using his tutorial to get many mods working including things like Tropical Skyrim and Tera Armors and Tera Weapons i wasn't satisfied with how the armors looked. I set out to find a way to make replacer textures work, something that many have been trying to do since the original game came out! Yesterday afternoon i had my breakthrough and got this working thanks to many different sources on the internet and much trial and error. So let's get to it:

And this is my tutorial, i decided to make a video since pictures get taken down after a while and i can more easily maintain my youtube account.
Bare in mind that this tutorial is only necessary to get replacers to work. Custom textures for added custom items will work fine using the tutorial by thugnit1019 linked above.
