Post: What's the oldest GT5 patch version that the garage editors will work with?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I backed up all my original PS3 data and wiped all GT5 data and am reinstalling the patches and was hoping to get into hacking cars asap. I know I still have a ways to go regardless as I stoped the updates after the fourth patch, gave the editor a shot, and the garage editor gave me an error trying to open the file about not opening old files.

Would anyone know what the oldest patch version is that the editor will work with? I'm about to just try the old fashioned hex editor to at least add some power to try that before I go back and let it finish patching so I can use the normal garage editor.

Okay, I actually went ahead and tried that before finishing this post and the usual 0000e970 line did not have the 28 00 00 00 64 code i expected so I won't even bother messing with it. Patching now...

Depends on which version editor you download:

Slim355 made editor on spec 1 + spec 2.

(Under Spec 1 spoiler).
You must login or register to view this content.

But manually editing with hex editor allows you to do more Smile

2.11 is the version you're looking for. after that 2.12 patched most things such as swaps and wing removal. all the editor versions should work with any patch you're on, hope that helped!

also what razer said, hex is the best way to go it may be harder but i find it to be more of a challenge and allows you to do more then with an editor. many thanks to slim and luca for spending time to make them for us though =3 i know we all found them useful and thank them.
