However, when going to drive it, the roof magically appears, making the entire concept of a convertible pointless. My question is, is there a line of text in hxd that I could edit (or remove) to take the roof down and drive a convertible the way it was meant to be driven; without a roof? Sorry if this has already been asked, but a simple search on NGU turned up fruitless.

this has indeed allready been mentioned months ago but i can remember that nobody had a solution for it.
if you look at the details of the inside of a car, it is a god damn waste not the be able to drive arround with the top down.
my favorite cars for the moment is a stanced premium SL55 AMG. if only i could remove that freakin top...

Yep.. I really wanted a Ferrari California with the top always up.. Spoiler add kept top up.. Spoiler delete just took spoiler off and top back down.. Also wanted a hard top Miata or S2k.. Hopes for GT6 I suppose

I did not,my friend.. I had another friend try it and he had no success.. He did however get a wingless ACR Viper.. Perhaps your research will prove more fruitful.

And my guess is checking a stock body code(top down) vs body code with spoiler (top up) then both using spoiler delete .. Perhaps using spoiler delete with top up body code?.. I certainly hope you have good findings..Good luck

Check if changing those codes does something. But I'm pretty sure that the game controls the roof itself and you can't do nothing about it. Hope I'm wrong

And those codes might be same on all cars and might not have anything do to with the roof.
