I've tried it on a wireless and a wired connection. It is a 2GB update and I don't have an unlimited amount of bandwidth so I can't try it all the time. Does anyone have a solution to this?

If your internet is not so good at all, then if there is someone you know that has a jailbroken PS3 get them to download the BF3 Update as a .PKG And data transfer to your PS3. It's probably the only way, if your internet isn't going to improve. I Have the BF3 .PKG Update downloaded, i could provide you with that?

Just take your Ps3 to a friend house and download the Update

Could try another time of the day say late at night.
I can't think of any other fixes.
