(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Right, this extremely simple to do so there will (more than likely) not be any problems!

Follow this very short tutorial to allow all your cars to be modified in slim's & q-k's Garage Editor!

1: Backup your GT5 save, so you can restore just in case!

2: Open Bruteforce and decrypt all of the GT5.* files, so if you have a GT5.0, GT5.1 and a GT5.2 decrypt all of them!

3: Now open all of them in HxD at once.

4: Click Search>Replace... And input these lines (Make sure the drop-down box is in Hex):

Search For: FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 27 00 33

Replace With: 74 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 27 00 33

5: Now click replace all, and repeat for any remaining tabs!

6: Save and close all of the files, then with Bruteforce, Refresh the file list, then Update PFD for all GT5.* files then re-encrypt.

7: Open the Garage Editor, and replace whatever you like.

8: Enjoy!

This method will do every car including the one you are in so feel free to engine swap every car in your garage if you really wish!

Cheers for taking a look!

I only have GT5.0 ^_^

I use hex anyway so it's not a major problem changing 2 extra values.

But this won't do all cars. If you have rims changed or the "livery" code is different than 00.

You can have line like this for example:
FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 05 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 27 00 33

05 = Livery Code
0A = Rim Code

Probably with(Might change something else too so not sure):

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF xx
to
01 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF xx

And then change that xx from 00 till what is the last livery value?? Bugatti has many, well let's say till 1E = 30.

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 01
to
01 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 01

then

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 02
to
01 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 02

until

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 1E
to
01 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 1E

Otherwise, nice tut :y:

EDIT:

And Luca said he will add hybrid button for all cars in his editor at the "Easy Way to convert your 2.11 hybrids to 2.14" thread.

What happens if you try put liveries on a car that doesn't have them? (00)

Your game will crash/freeze. Always (when using HEX yourself) move livery code to 00 when swapping body Smile

If you download the free hex editor XVI32, It has wildcards. I used it to change every car in my garage to new, broken in, with oil change. All 1100 of them.

Interesting program, will test it. Thanks. :y:

EDIT:

Just created working script for this resetting thing. That editor is very easy to use Smile
