today I decided to mod an HKS CT230R and what came out was an awefully stanced 100 000 bhp golden beast that I totally love, there is a problem with it tho. It could easily reach ~1000kph but after 725 it won't go faster since there is what seems like an RPM/speed block.. the power;torque to RPM also looks weird

It's got an X1 Motor, X1 Chassis, FFFFFF Turbo, its own drivetrain, suspension and gearbox.. and of course the 2CV horn Needa

What do? Change gearbox or settings?

Edit: Something funny just happened. After around 20 drag runs on Sarthe it finally reached 999kph, the car jumped a bit, tires started spinning and heating up and voila, 700 to 1000 in less than a second.
Still, what can I do to make it more reliable?

Edit2: Fine tuned the gearbox, makes it to 1k but still takes a long time till the Turbo kicks in.. any ideas?

FF'ing a turbo will always give you shitty powerbands.

Exactly what Herpy said, F-turbos are almost completely useless, I really wish people would get over this whole 999mph phase.

Would it be possible to take a pic of the list of installed parts on both cars for comparison? Everyone so far is 100% right the FF the turbo thing makes nothing but glitchy garbage but there are still some who like to rocket around an oval with them at speeds cars have no business doing.

If they were just doing it on the ovals it'd be fine but coming into a JDM room and slamming into people isn't cool. Happens 90% of the time. I'm going to suggest a questions section for GT 5 and apply for Mod for this section. Get rid of the stupid posts.

look for EmpireStanceKr3w lobby's. if someone enter the lobby with such a car, he doesn't even have the time to make a lap. he get kicked. i always put a HP limit when a make lobby.

I mod these cars just to see how far I can go with the power and speed thing (modding for aesthetics is something I've done in the past and I got bored of) and I prefer playing SP than playing online since there are way too many begging kids in "hacker"lobbies.

Maybe I find the time to do a relatively straightforward comparison later today.

Why not try remake a car you've seen in real life or something? Why must you go for the stupid shit at all?

When I see people in those 999mph cars I just think; "Oh it's just another stupid kid trying to annoy people", and more often than not, that is the case.

But whatever dude, the game is in it's final days, especially when GTA V comes out, GT5 will be dead.
