So what's the best stuff to put on the shotguns and why also the better shotguns in the game. Worth my time grinding out shotguns or not?

870 is okay in my eyes that as far I got.

the SHORTY 12G looks good

m1014 is a beast,all the others are too slow on follow up shots. and only ammo worth a damn is buckshot.

Shotguns are hit or miss. Try hardcore mode and pretend to be a ninja. Catch the enemy off guard, and go for enemies that are by them selfs or paired bc hardcore or not you will be out gunned.
Another way is wound them with your secondary the FINISH HIM with the shotgun.

The shorty 12 is ok practically have to be on top of them to get a kill

The Shorty will make them feel the pain

Shorty 12G have to try that out, being told that allows you to unlock any other shotguns.

They starting shot gun for me is the best one. Green laser and ergo grip I think oh and a reflex sight and use buckshot rounds. It's so op you can almost snipe with it! I have standard choke on it too if that's anything.

Personally shotguns are good to max out classes like support or recon and you can run and gun while raking in the points.
