Most likely not, 127 was patched along time ago you can still use it but you have to host the match.

I can confirm that it works after the 500mb patch. I tested it out on a dummy account. I'm just not sure if I would get banned for using it. I don't see why I would if I'm joining one of my friends sessions or if I hosted.
