the one car i can remember is the Honda Accord. it has clutch in real life. i was so dissapointed so i didn't play the game since.
a T500RS has a 1080° rotation so when the car starts to slide, it's allmost impossible to correct it. sliprecovery make it just a bit easyier. :p the only aid i was using in GT5 was sliprecovery, anything else was turned off and it worked fine.
btw; PD has the software to make it possible to change the angle for the T500RS but they don't do anything with it. :bat:

i can lock the rotation on any angle i want but only on my pc. if the PS3 game doesn't have the option to lock the rotation, it won't work on PS3. that's why i sayd that PD has the software to make it possible but they didn't incorporated it in to the game. if only i knew that before buying the damn thing. A little practice is all it takes to get used to it. Took me about 3 months to fully get the hang of it ! Just make sure in the game options you have Steering Type set to simulation and PAS off , I also find it useful to have the feedback set on 8 or 9. As for the clutch and gearbox problems your having the only thing I could think of is to check the USB port is working for the shifter because the game wont use the clutch if the shifter is not detected.
