(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Been trying to work out how to rebalance air power vs AA for some time.
Anybody who played with the any sort of helicopter can tell you they don't work right.

Couple factors first ammo supply, you don't get much at all.
Next up the damage output not very high
Next up many many many things take you down

In my eyes on of the biggest problems mobile AA active radar needs to be nerfed in damage leave it spamable but nerf the damage on the rockets hard!
Reduce the number of AA rockets you can carry to 1 or 2.
Reduce the AA rocket range and damage
Change what a hit does to the helicopter right now you fly over
Etc etc

So many things wrong with the AA in this game. :(

I agree with most of what you said. It's was like they made the air vehicles, a fly caught in a jar and the aa vehicles/aa weapons a huge can of insect killer. It's just very unbalanced from the air to ground aspect, but I feel the air to air is pretty good.
Now for a fix for the problem I think is going to be difficult to pick a few things. I think the time to load the countermeasures and the aa rockets should be the same amount of time maybe? If they do that then the aa gunner and pilot would have to rely more on gun skills than pesky rockets. Now, that's not going to stop the troops on the ground that have the anti aa weapons but that's a different story.
I have had games where me and or a pilot have flown for more than half the game in a single chopper by using avoid and hide after deploying countermeasures. But if you come accrossed an anti aa group you really stand no chance.

They have changed the velocity of the 20mm cannon on the AA to stop spawn campers. I always dominate with the AA's zuni's wont effect me.

Fixed the flipping issue also are meant to have lowered it. Also a change to AR rockets less range and less overall AA.
Small buff to one of the ammo types too.
We see how it plays.

Happy the flipping is gone, that really annoyed me.

You don't know how many times that has caused me to die. Still curious how it plays now.
