Post: How to resign a GT6 Save (CFW Only!)
10-10-2014, 08:41 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, i'm seeing a lot of people having troubles resigning the save, so here's a small tutorial for you guys.

Requirements:
- CFW console
- Bruteforce Save Data + HxD (You must login or register to view this content.)
- GT6HE
- Brain

We should be good to go.

1st step: resign to your local account.

Get your "banned" save on your current account and copy it on a USB. Transfer it to your PC. (Optional: Add the PSN name in the save name, in case you don't want to fuck up)

In this case, i'll be working with 2 accounts of mine, s30z and JRMB.

You must login or register to view this content.

a) Find the UserID of your new save (in this case, i need the UserID of JRMB)

To find it, click on your new save, then "patch .sfo" and "edit param.sfo"

You must login or register to view this content.

Here it is. The "Account ID" is what we're looking for. Copy it and close the window.

b) Decrypt the save (the one you want to resign) and open PARAM.SFO in HxD.

Look on the right. You should see random numbers and letters. (something like 7x8veqg7bsf...).

You must login or register to view this content.

Select it and use CTRL+V. The UserID should change to your new one.

You must login or register to view this content.

Look at the bottom of the param.sfo. You should see another userID.

You must login or register to view this content.

Do the same as above.

You must login or register to view this content.

Save and quit HxD.

C) Re-encrypt the save with Bruteforce.

You must login or register to view this content.

As you can see, the userID of the save has changed.

2nd Step: Make the save usable online.

Put back the save on your PS3 (don't forget to remove the username in the save name) and start up GT6.

Once the game is loaded, start up GT6 Hybrid Editor (GT6HE) and wait for it to load.

Go on the main tab, and look for the PSN Name field.

Put your new username in.

Click the save button

Do something to trigger the save. (Manual save or buy a car, ...)

Quit the game.

Restart GT6 and go on main menu.

Restart GT6HE and wait for it to load.

If you did everything correctly, the PSN name has changed, and you're able to reach online.

Enjoy the game.

you can just do rebuild with current Profile [FULL] a lot easier and faster

Rebuild with current profile doesn't always resign completely the save (especially on GT6 for some reason), or this one resign it completely.

I had issues with resigning my save after my 1st ban, and only that method worked fine. Smile

But yeah, a rebuild can also work for some. I'll add other methods to resign the save later Smile

I use the save version and it doesn't work at all, my games.conf is updated and i even added cID to the profile. Smile

This one completely works, and atleast the save is fully resigned.

Nice but a long process.
All I do load my CFw save.
Then go to set profile, then click set current sfo. Click OK on the two popup boxes.
Then load my banned save
Then click rebuild, then click rebuild full. Then open the banned save and delete the original SFO file.
Load it up on my cfw console and change the psn to my new acc psn. Then just do the same process again to my new account. That's it done. There isn't really any need to use hxD or SFO editor. The way I do it works for cfw and ofw. But to unban an account you do need cfw to change the psn with gt6he. But if you just want to resign this way works fine for both of and cfw.

Yep, also working. But for some reason (and for some people) it doesn't work at all. For example, your method works with most of my games, but GT6 doesn't.
