They are only account banning on the GT6 servers only. You only get banned if you play with random players in lobbies with modded cars. It seems related to people reporting you. Since you have to upload your car settings to the server in order for online mode to work there is no way to hide customized cars.

If you just playing with legit cars on line you do not get banned for being on CFW.

Long time of doing game updates, gone be a few hours

I tried it but say fail installation an error occurred during installation on my dex PS3 😵

How did you update?

Tryed MM and didn't work now doing it regular update thanks man for helping me out 😜

If it gets stuck, delete the GT6 save data, and do each update one at a time, meaning do the update then start the game, once game started exit and do the next update. Continue until all the updates are done, this is what I do.

I just upgraded to a Terabyte HDD on my PS3 so I'm doing the same updates ATM, currently I'm at 1.12, in about 15min ill be on 1.13. I'm lucky because I kept all my updates saved I don't have to re-download them.

Using MM to do updates is only required if you have an older CFW. I don't remember off hand when they last changed the keys but I know it is not required for Rebug 4.46. MM looks to see it there are older firmware updates and grabs those I believe.

I always let games update by themselves as a first attempt as this almost all ways works. In the case of GT6 I install six different regions and since I only have a 150 Gb drive in it I go through a complete install for five of those every update and every time i just let it update normally and never have a problem. I think the problem arises from using MM or manually installing the packages.

For the next update I backed up the internal data before deleting it so I can test if simply restoring it will be faster.

Of course I could just be overwhelming lucky with installing so many times.
