For those of you that are being banned, try ensuring that the DLC fix is not installed as Bungie may be on to that now.
In addition to that, if you are playing from a backup, (i might be wrong about this, please correct me if i am) stop using the backup as they may also be on to that, and use a retail copy of Destiny, or the digital copy.

I realize my information is not enough, but i am performing trial and error with dummy accounts and so far, it would seem the DLC fix triggers an instant ban.

Which dlc fix are you using the one with the black ghost or the one without it because that does make a difference

I had, prior to the release of the dark below, the dlc fix WITHOUT the black ghost, and was presented with a ban on my account. That being said, i do not believe Bungie is banning people for the black ghost, but for having the all dlc pkg installed

A user on this forum said they were able to use dlc fix without ban. I'll post link shortly.

did you ever use the old DLC fix with the black ghost? I did, and I think that is why my account was banned.
I reinstalled with the new DLC fix, but long ago I used the old DLC fix at least once

My buddy bought Destiny with seasonal pass on PSN and downloaded it on my PS3 and I still got banned. People say that LizardSquad hacked Bungie because it only affects PSN players.

Never used the older dlc fix with black ghost. Only used the latest one without it.

if you went to the special vendor in the tower (I don't know the name of the vendor but it is next to the post office), was the black ghost available for purchase?

are you playing on a modded console with CFW? did you every use any mods?

I'm just trying to figure out the common reason for the ban. Maybe they are banning for multiple reasons.

Okay, i never modified this particular game ever. The closest i have ever come to modifying this game was adding the files for the fixed BLES copy to its directory, and installing dlc fix WITHOUT not with, WITHOUT the black ghost. I know what the black ghost is, and it never appeared for me alongside the red ghost in my inventory, or the special vendor.

That being said, i think it is safe to say that the all dlc pkg is the source for being banned from destiny, so delete the files for destiny from game data utility, or reinstall the game if you have digital copy. I have tried five dummy accounts, 1 was banned with the all dlc fix installed, four were not when i attempted to login WITHOUT the all dlc fix installed.

If this information is somehow not believable, one could try it themselves and they will receive the same results. Good day!
