You can pirate it, but as far as I know you won't be able to experience online which in essence is a major component of the game.

That would be where the having a friend thing kind of comes into play. I would not expect a person who does not know you to lend you their game collection.

I was able to play online while testing this. It worked perfectly. Although I do not condone piracy, I will still test it for knowledge

most likely using the unofficial servers only which are typically shit Them feels

you need to play competitive to see the real side of counter strike.
