Yes! You can get the Alien Blaster, as it also appears in Fallout 4. Look on the ground for this greenish looking blood. It's sporadic so you could lose the trail. But it'll eventually lead to a cave, enter it and kill the alien. You'll be able to pick up his blaster, and just shy of 500 rounds of ammo.

I tried 3 nor clips they worked on my other console so I was thinking it may not be the clip & I wanted to know what you ended up doing.
