There were virtual private server emulators that would sort of trick Diablo 3 to think you were offline when you played the game in order to crack the game and bypass always online.
I would start there because I'm sure youll want to be offline when you start modding sadly I have no information myself, razor 1911 or reloaded teams probably did the upload of it if you need a starting point.

Well, I tried.. You can find a lot of stuff in 30000000 - 40000000 range if you use netcheat, but everything is dynamic and I couldn't find any pointers. Even if I did, I think theyd be multilevel and I can't fuck with that...sorry
