(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello there! I have a problem with multiman, when I try to copy a game from external fat32 HDD to my PS3 internal HDD using (latest Multiman) about 40% of the way I get the error message "Operation failed or cancelled"
Now the game I am trying to copy over is Kingdom hearts 1.5 HD remix, it is 20.4GB in size. I searched around and found out that files over 4gb won't copy because of fat32, so I downloaded ps3 splitter and splitted the game onto my external HDD located at EXTERNAL HDD/GAMES/TheGame

Now I connect HDD to ps3, started multiman, went into MMOS manager and tried copying it over but got the error message even after splitting it? I also tried to copy from main menu but it still gives the error? Please if anyone knows can they help me out, Much appreciated!

load up mM again, Start up an FTP client(filezilla is the best and free), put your ps3 IP in the host box and press connect(make sure your wired connection or files will fail over 2gb) then go to the fold you wish to put the game in(Internal hdd would be hdd0/GAMES and external would be root://GAMES) then put the game inside the GAMES folder and wait for it to finish.

So, you think this is the only way? Via filezilla to ps3? I don't think I am able to go wired :(

I used to do it the same way you do it, The issue is, anything over 4gb on FAT32 HAS to be split and then transfered to the internal hdd. I figured cutting out the middle made(external), and just FTPing to it, is tons easier. Also it's less time transfering too. If you don't want to go wired, then you can always stay wire-less just split the files over 4gb, but sometimes it won't work since the ps3 will turn itself off if it's over 2gb

I did use ps3splitter and split the file then transfer using multiman because I read it will re join but it errors when trying to re join some files at around 40% ?

Hmm. I've never had that happen before. Do this, on wire-less, FTP the game to the ps3 and as for the 4gb files, transfer them with the external
