Post: Questions about jailbreaking with a cech-2001a.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, so I've had my cech-2001a for a long time now, everything works great. Lately I've been seeing the influence of mods in so many good games that I play, I feel that it makes the game more fun. That's just my opinion. Now, I know that there is DEX and CEX, what are the differences between the two? And is my cech-2001a nand or nor? And I do not want to solder, so is the nor e3 flasher limited edition the solderless solution? Thanks in advance.

CEX= retail console (the system you buy at your local game/electronic store)
DEX=developers console (the system that developers use to make games and that people use to do RTM)

CECH2001a is NOR and NOR are usually found on the SLIMS
NAND are usually found in the earlier FATs and the more recent FATS have NOR

E3 flasher is your solderless solutoins for your NOR chip amigo

Thanks for the reply, I've heard of cex to dex conversions, is this possible without any extra hardware?

you don't need any extra special hardware for the conversion, you'll just need a USB flash drive and patience.
