Like i know what the general items are but i don;t know what to do and all the files to download and what now. Oh and im getting all of this stuff this month or for christmas btw.

What im getting:

a 16 GB usb
a enthenet cable

Is that all accessories i need, or do i need to get something else?

And what files do i need. I would like to do like modded lobbies on mw3 or mw2 just you know generall modded lobbies, and also please tell me what ps3 are combatitly with what. REMEMBER IM A NOOB AT THIS STUFF

You're going to need a lot :p

First thing to download is MultiMAN, as this will be a good backup manager (for backing up games, etc.) You can also use it as an FTP, which if you dont know, is a file manager that works on a wireless connection through your PS3 to your PC.

This is used for putting on custom patches for games like MW2, COD4, WAW, BO1, etc.

Also is used to Debug eboots, which is for Real Time Editing.

Real Time Editing is what you're going to need to do to host on later cods, as nobody makes patches anymore for later releases :p


If you wanna know what firmware to go to? Go to Rebug. then switch to DEX. from there, install PS3ITA 4.50.

This will let you RTE.

Some other homebrews i would reccomend are Rebug Toolbox and PS3ITA Manager. You'll know why in the future.

EDIT: fyi, id get a external hard drive, either 500gigs or 1TB so you can back up alot of games.
