Post: PC cant Find my PS3 HDD?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Does anyone know why my PC isn't detecting my HDD? I tryed Disk Management and I couldnt find it there. Any other ways to find it?

Make sure you have a FTP server on your PS3 (Multiman, blackb0x) and have Filezilla on your PC. Find your IP, multiman>system info, and type it in the host slot and click connect. I don't even know if this is what you were talking about but I hope it helped.

Safest, fastest, and most easiest way would be to restore it with another PS3 system.

does the connector you are using work fine with other 2.5' hard drives?
does your hard drive work fine in your ps3?
bare in mind to actually see the harddrive windows will change some info on the drive rendering it or anything else on it useless to the ps3 afterwards, hence you are gonna need to reformat
