Hmm, I suppose if it works for blus and not bles, you could try and run the blus pkg file. Maybe even replace the necessary files to allow you to play on the desired output settings.

I've never had this problem personally so I couldnt give you any garauntees. Cool Man (aka Tustin)

The PAL refresh and size ratios are different and therefore you can't use them. You also can't buy a PAL TV because the voltages over there are different.

Nothing short of editing the EBOOT could fix the problem. Add-ons are just that, add-ons. Tricking them to install for the PAL version is child's play. It's the engine you need to modify which might be tricky depending on encryption. Give it a shot though.

"I am getting this error on X-Men Origins Wolverine….I do NOT have HDMI/HDTV….so does this mean I can't even play this game???"

"use the sfo editor and u can check whatever output of the video you need. most of the time you may run into this problem when playing a Pal region game which will not run on 480i using traditional yellow red white cables."

could someone sfo edit for me i have a mac. 20 rep promise

Hi
i had this problem years back and the only way i got over this problem is by getting an HDMI TV. NOTHING will work because in order to run the game you need a high resolution output. you can try it with a friend first who has an HDMI. i'm sure it will work

hey thanks for the reply but you said "years back" so that must mean you didnt have cfw back then. its still possible people i swear. i know that theres no convententional way of doing it but i quoted this guy from psx scene
"use the sfo editor and u can check whatever output of the video you need. most of the time you may run into this problem when playing a Pal region game which will not run on 480i using traditional yellow red white cables." this guys suggesting that its a simple fix in an sfo editor but i have a mac.

"you cannot play this game at current video output setting" is the error i got years back. i don't think CFW or anhting else is a problem but its the video output. you need an HDMI.. i hope the fix you talked about wil solve it.

as i said before i fixed it by having an HDMI tv.
