Sorry, but you can't jailbreak a 3.72 ps3, the only fws you can jailbreak= 3.55 or below, you're gonna need a ps3 with fw 3.55 to jailbreak it.

you must be slow cfw or a "jailbreak" doesnt run off a mod chip he is asking for what is the best mod chip to allow him to get cfw again something like progskeet or e3 flasher to re write his nand or nor

i would research about e3 flasher and yes question about hardware your going to have and solder something to a ps3 to downgrade it or just buy a new one

There's jailbreak modchips for lower fws, idk about newer fws though, since I haven't stayed up update on ps3 hacking lately. Thanks for correcting me, and yes I do know that he can't simply use a modchip to hack his ps3 without soldering, that's why I answered what I answered. Btw cfws and jailbreaks do the same thing to the ps3, but they are obtained different, jailbreak is obtained via modchip, and cfw is obtained from hacked PUP.

hey there man, ive been in your situation as well, your best bet is to learn to/get someone to solder a flashing device into your ps3, i do not know of any solderless flashers for fat ps3's as of yet, the e3 flasher or progskeet is your best bet to downgrade your firmware and install cfw but you have to solder them into your ps3. hope i helped man

jailbreaking allows un assigned coding from flooding something on bootup cfw is software so if you say modchip i guess that would be considered a chip usb or not didnt think about it that way :mad:
