I was wondering if my ps3 is on CFW 3.55 and I dump the NOR on my slim, will I be able to reflash my ps3 on OFW 3.72 and go back to 3.55 whenever I want? There is no way that I know of at the moment. You're going to need 2 PS3's to go online with your mods.

Yes, this would work, but he would not be able to use the 2 hardrives with the one PS3

That works about 10% of the time. It's basically trial and error. If it doesn't work, you must start the process all over again. It's up to you, try different methods and they may work to your liking.

Yes, you can do this, but I am pretty sure you will be stuck on 3.55 FW. You will have to get a second PS3 to take your mods online.
