yes. there are different versions of e3 flashers. some come with and without esata.

1. dual booting was to be its main feature.
2. Place to hold your HD when you installed an e3 flasher in the HD house of fat models.

i connected the e3 flasher to ps3 what do i do with the harddrive cz i dont have the esata?

In the process you don't need it till the end. Just dump your BIOS to a TF Card, Then downgrade, then after downgrade plug in your hard drive and take out the e3 flasher.
