question: what if I have a ps3 that wont read discs can I put a patch in the system then data transfer it to a 4.00 Ps3. I remember something about the games pkg files and that I dint need.to have the game I just used the pkg file and it installs and then I can swap patches but in not sure I song remember. can anyone also tell me what else o can do except challenge lobbies and the best CFW?

Depends on which directory the data is being saved. I think the backup managers saves data in GAMEZ and GAMES or something. Where you want it is in the game or games directory, so I'm not quite sure if it will work.

yeah your mod goes in the update so it would be hddo/game/????? and what ever game. no need for bd if you need update just data transfer from 4.00 to 3.55 first then mod and transfer back

yeah I know that and what said last is a good idea. but I was saying that if theres is a program or hack whatever that finds the latest update installs it on the ps3 and then I swap patches then transfer. I know there is a program/hack in the ps3 because I had it I just don't remember the name. It installed the latest update right on the ps3

Simple just look for what patch you want. For example Mw2 has 1.11 patch. So look for the one you and look up your region. Ie: Cod WAW 1.01 pkg USA. I hope you know the rest.

yes you got it blacklegacy multiman, but you need disk, now you can also go to psx store in multiman or on computer and download update as pkg and they have a large selection, lets say black ops you can find anything from the 1.02 up to the 1.13 updates. Hope this helps
