Games which can be installed to the hard drive are usually installed on starting the game (game data).

If you are talking about copying and running the games off of the hard drive. You need to be on firmware 3.55 or lower and install a CFW such as kmeaw 3.55 or rebug 3.55.
If you're on a higher firmware, you can try install and downgrade your firmware using the E3 Flasher.
