The point of an E3 Flasher isn't simply downgrading, it is so you can have one ps3 on both CFW and OFW. This guy probably wants to host a challenge lobby or something. After the modded patch is on the CFW PS3 it will still be there if he updates to OFW.

No i have 2 ps3s but on one of them is console banned so ima unban it then update it to 4.0......So is it safe or not???
